![]() We agree with everything the last couple of reviews have said - the hotel is old, not well maintained, and not in a great location. Overall a great hotel and I would return… Worth taking a trip to Anti Paros for the day, smaller, quainter and cheaper. Naoussa gets very busy and is quite expensive to eat, especially around the harbour, which is lovely. The beach is a 2 min walk, or you can get a bus. There are a few supermarkets a few mins walk away, plus a bakery. The hotel is a good 15 minute walk into Naoussa town. The staff were really helpful and polite, and would go out of their way to help you. The hotel has a 3 legged cat that like to join you and is partial to a bit of ham. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, bread, cake, fruit yoghurt etc, plus eggs cooked to your liking if you wanted. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during our stay, as the hotel was not busy enough. But both pools were clean, surrounding pool area was well looked after with plenty of towels and shade. Two pools, the deeper one a bit of a health hazard with an invisible step, that my husband cracked his shin on, and my sun bashed his head on. The hotel itself was beautiful, lovely well kept gardens. Rooms were great, very spacious with comfy beds, light and airy with huge patio balconies, plus a fridge. We were a family of four staying in two adjacent rooms. Stayed at Mr and Mrs White for 7 nights at the end of May. Highly recommend walking to town for Safran and the absolutely beautiful views over the port and Venetian castle.… Didn’t try the bar or the restaurant for any meals. Naoussa is pretty far from airport but we did take the transfer to the port which was only 20 mins. Similarly 15 minutes to the port front with restaurants. ![]() Cons: Very far from beaches and town they will say it’s a “stone’s throw” but it’s a good fifteen minute walk to the nearest beach (Agioi Arygoroi, excuse spelling). Patio was great size but didn’t get to utilize much. Our bed in the Premium Garden view room was massive but rock hard, and the bathroom shower head wasn’t a fixed shower or rainfall shower which might be expected for such a prestigious boutique chain in Greece. Complimentary breakfast with our room had plenty of options and the coffee was good to energize for the walk down to the Naoussa port. The white buildings are timeless Cycladic beauty. Well acquainted hotel with absolutely phenomenal landscaping and gardens. Paros is a beautiful island, we just wish we hadn’t been dazzled by the pretty pictures of this hotel online. This hotel is affiliated with the Small Luxury Hotels of the World but does not deliver like it should under this guise. Anything that we asked for assistance with (kindly with manners and empathy for the situation we were all in) was brushed off and not followed up like it should - terrible hot water, unreliable wifi, rooms not serviced at 4pm, water dripping air conditioning into our belongings inside the room. Staff seem stressed, overworked and unhappy. The third pool near the Armelina section is tired and unwelcoming. The pool area near the Reception is dangerously slippery when wet. Our rooms were poorly appointed (tired linen, no tea/coffee facilities, no surfaces to put anything on off the dirty floor), dirty even after the cleaners had been in, and felt second rate to the pretty pictures online - no pictures of the double bed jammed up against the wall or the shower that was so small you had to step out of it to raise your arms and lather your shampoo! When we enquired if there was any other rooms available (and happy to pay extra) we were briskly told no. A walk from the main area across the dusty road away from the swimming pools, bougainvillea joy and life of the main hotel facilities, which Elias assured us as we checked in (after seeing our disappointed faces) that ‘we could still use these’! Red flag instantly. We were located in their Armelina apartments. ![]() That beautiful bougainvillea at the entrance ticks all the Greek Island holiday boxes! We had booked 2 rooms for our family of four and have come away so disappointed. MMW Paros on first glance was a beauty to walk into.
